Gay/Straight Alliance
The Gay/Straight Alliance is an organization designed to provide support and advocacy for the entire spectrum of gender and sexual orientation. The Gay/Straight Alliance will create opportunities for safe and supportive social gatherings that strive to minimize the fear of harassment and to eventually stop the continuation of hate-crime and hate-speech. The group will encourage its members to speak up and let their voices be heard, whether they have political opinions or ideas for the progress of the group as a whole. Latin Club
Latin Club engages in fun activities and community service throughout the year. Restaurant nights, movie nights, Roman banquets, and 'toga bowling' are just a few of the fun activities we do. We also help the community via service projects. Making holiday ornaments for the Saint Francis Children's Hospital, the Angel Tree Toy Drive, and preparing Salvation Army food baskets are just a few of our past club service projects.
Students do not need to be enrolled in Latin courses to be members of the club. All MHS students are welcome to join.
Annual dues for Latin Club are $5. These will be collected during the first weeks of the school year.
Come join the fun!!
