Earn a Degree, Graduate Early (EDGE)
In the EDGE program, students begin preparing for college as early as their freshman year through the elective course Introduction to College. By their sophomore year, they start earning college credit by taking courses at Tulsa Community College (TCC). While this accelerated path may sound challenging, EDGE students receive comprehensive support every step of the way. Each student is paired with dedicated mentors at both Memorial and TCC, has access to a specialized counselor, and participates in a structured study hall during the school day to complete assignments and receive academic assistance. This strong network of support ensures that every EDGE student is confident, prepared, and equipped to succeed in both high school and college.
This program is completely free for students/families and transportation is provided to and from TCC campuses. Students are expected to participate in a summer EDGE event with TCC each year.
HOW TO APPLY
- Complete the TCC application.
- It includes a 500-word essay to be completed by the student applying and one letter of recommendation.
