Bullying and Harrassment Announcement

    Tulsa Public Schools is dedicated to a safe and orderly learning environment with fair and consistent treatment for all students.    Harassment, intimidation and bullying directed at another individual is inappropriate and will not be tolerated. harassment due to the race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability of another person is also inappropriate and is prohibited.   Harassment includes slurs, gestures, acts of physical aggression, assault, overt or implied threats and other inappropriate conduct.  all students have a right to a learning environment free of harassment.  All students also have the responsibility of avoiding harassing conduct toward other students.   Should you choose to harass another individual, you may be subject to consequences that could include an out of school suspension or other appropriate action.   These rights, responsibilities and the consequences can be found in your 2009-10 behavior response plan.
    
Should you ever feel you have been harassed, intimidated or bullied by another individual, please report the conduct immediately.  You may report the conduct to the principal’s office.  The report can be made in person or in writing.   The school is obligated to investigate any complaint and will do so in a timely fashion.  The principal and staff will take immediate action to investigate the complaint and provide appropriate remedial action.
