PEASE, JEANNE

Hello My Name Is...

Jeanne Pease

This is my 15th year at Memorial High School.  Students with special needs come to my classroom for math and science.  We do many hands-on activities as we explore science concepts and learn how to use math skills in life.

I believe that all students can learn.  I also believe that each of us is uniquely and wonderfully made.  Having been born almost completely deaf, I understand what it's like to live with a disability.  I understand the hard work involved in overcoming limitations in order to reach your potential.  My most disliked phrase is, "I can't do it... it's too hard."  Try and try again!

I attended Trinity University in San Antonio to earn a BA in Deaf Education in 1981.  After my four children got older, I went back to school to earn a MA in Curriculum Development from Oral Roberts University (ORU) in Tulsa in 2007.  I'm still not done learning ... I'm finishing up a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from ORU!
