I began my teaching career with a degree in Music Therapy/Recreation Therapy from Phillips University. After working as a Paraprofessional for 4 years for Tulsa County Developmental Center, I began teaching students with Multiple Disabilities in 1985. I moved to Hawaii in 1989 where I taught students with severe disabilities for 2 years plus 2 summers. I have been teaching at Memorial (my own Alma Mater) since 1991. I am a certified Water Safety Instructor, and have also been a Special Olympics coach since 1986, certified in Athletics and Motor Activities.
I teach Job Training, English Concepts, Concepts of Music, and
Concepts of P.E.
