English 4 & AP Literature and Composition

    Welcome!  My name is Michele Pomerantz.  I have been teaching at Memorial High School for more than a decade, though I have also taught in the Chicago suburbs and the Phoenix suburbs. I have extensive training in rhetoric, composition, and literary analysis.  My classes are highly interactive forums.  Students are expected to think critically about the world in which they live and every task assigned to them.

    Classes will be challenging but I am available for tutoring and communication via a number of channels. I can be reached for online, interactive tutoring via Edmodo  (edmodo.com- access codes will be provided in class).  Students may send private inquiries to my Edmodo account and may engage one another in discussion forums regarding readings and assignments on the web-board provided there.  Students may also be expected to participate in class posting boards on nicenet.org. Questions may be sent to me via email at pomermi@tulsaschools.org. Live tutoring is also available before and after school.
