Hello My Name Is...
John Dvornik

The 2012 - 13 school year is my fifth at Memorial.
This year I'll be working with freshmen in an exciting, new, one-semester class we're calling STEM. That stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.
For 19 fast-paced weeks we will be working with Science, Technology, Engineering & Math not as separate subjects but as a group of skills students need to be successful in their future. Students will use visual thinking, reasoning, analysis and deduction; they will focus on relationships and how they work in “real life”.
Before joining the team at Memorial I was an entrepreneur and an executive in the corporate arena where I was nominated for INC. magazine's "Positive Performer Award."
A former member of the faculty at Purdue University's Center for Customer Driven Quality, I have also instructed at Chicago City College.
At Memorial, I'm working to help students get more excited about learning and more prepared for continued education and for life.
